Outstanding 1999 release from this incredible psych/folk outfit. Total distorto wall-of-feedback accompanies sitar, tabla, banjo, electric guitar, and voice to create a particularly satisfying sonic palette; not unlike the unyielded orchestrations of the Elephant 6 collective. Great male/female vocals, "faux"-Celtic mysticism, and a devotional quality which really enriches the whole vibe. A great, entrancing listen from start to finish.
